10 MBit/S high-speed optocoupler

The new PS9587 series is ideally suited for high speed communication interfaces, factory automation networks, test and measurement equipment and applications in harsh industrial environments.

The input side consists of a GaAlAs LED, the output side of a detector diode with signal processing circuit for digital output signals. Between input and output is an internal shield, providing a common mode transient immunity CMH/CML of min 15 kV/μs. The isolation voltage between input and output is 5 kV. The couplers are provided in an 8-pin DIP. Four different lead frame options are available: 7mm creepage, 8mm creepage, both with and without lead bending. The maximum propagation delay time is 75 ns, enabling a datarate of 10Mbit/s.

All parts are fully RoHS-compliant and common international safety certificates are available.
