Green robust PROFETŪ switches

Infineon has now launched a new 2-channel PROFETŪ2 family of high-side power drivers ranging from 140 down to 19 mŲ.

The device offers complete protection against harsh automotive environments. State-ofthe- art PROFETŪ diagnostic features cover all possible fault scenarios. Thanks to high current- limitation values, the devices can drive high-capacitive loads without overheating. All ICs feature current sensing and the diagnostics signal can differentiate between Open Load (OL) and Short Circuit (SC) in the ON and OFF state.

The complete family is PWMcapable to improve the application lifetime such as bulbs. These devices are suitable for driving bulb lamps and inductive loads such as motors in various automotive and industrial applications.
