Description

The XE167 and XE164 are improved and next generation devices of the full featured 16-bit single-chip CMOS Real Time Signal Controller offering 32-bit performance. Based on an enhanced C166S V2 core, it outperforms existing 16-bit solutions.

A powerful CPU with 66 MIPS performance combined with enhanced I/O capabilities, flexible power management and feature rich peripherals make the XE164 and XE167 the preferred choice for demanding industrial systems

- Fast 15 ns muliplication (16 x 16bit), background division (32/16bit) and MAC instructions
- 16Mbytes total linear address space (code and data)
- 16-prio. Level interrupts system (87 sources)
- 1Kbyte stand-by RAM; 2Kbytes dual-port RAM
- Multifunctional timer unit with 5 timers (16-bit)
- Up to 6 serial interface channels (used at UART, LIN, SPI, I2C Bus Interface or I2S)
- Embedded voltage regulator for single power supply incl. brown-out detection
- Configurable I/O power supply for 3.3V and/or 5V
