On March 12, 2008, the “Renesas R8C Hands on Workshop” took place with Rudolf Wieselhuber (Account Manager Distribution Central Europe) and the two applications engineers, Lutz Jordan and Wolfgang Michalowicz, at Sasco Holz in Ruemlang, Switzerland. The main topic was the R8C microcontroller family. The R8C family can be used in all sorts of technical applications according to the Renesas slogan “Everywhere you imagine.”
Frank Nowak, Regional Sales Manager for the Zurich office, reports that 12 people attended the Renesas Seminar in Ruemlang. After a brief introduction of Sasco Holz and their strategy, the Renesas specialists, Rudolf Wieselhuber, Wolfgang Michalowicz and Lutz Jordan started the seminar.
Rudolf Wieselhuber presented the agenda and began by introducing Renesas and how it came about. Renesas was found in 2003 from the two companies, Mitsubishi Electronic and Hitachi Semiconductor.
Wolfgang Michalowicz then gave a theoretical presentation on the technical features of the 8-bit microcontroller.
