Putzbrunn, March 5, 2008 – As part of the pan-European formation of Arrow’s Advanced Embedded Solutions division, Sasco Holz will increase its focus on its sales activities in the area of integrated system-level technologies. The distributor has already renamed its former “Subsystems” product area to “Advanced Embedded Systems”. With this new competence centre, Sasco Holz is reacting to the increased demand for networking and complexity in applications and solutions. In this segment, Sasco Holz can offer an all-in-one portfolio to suit any solution scenario, by drawing on display solutions and industrial computer systems as well as solutions for wireless and power management. Sasco Holz is also able to provide complementary technologies and services such as configuration modules and training.
Sasco Holz is focussing more strongly on the area of embedded solutions since corporate customers are increasingly limiting themselves to their core skills in development, and buying-in all-in-one solutions in order to respond more quickly to the market. Sasco Holz is thus specifically targeting this central customer requirement. With its Advanced Embedded Solutions, Sasco Holz not only offers the technology, but also the human resources for achieving integrated system solutions.
The Advanced Embedded Solutions competence centre is part of Arrow Electronics’ newly-formed, pan-European division, headed by Chris McAneny, the European Embedded Solutions Group Leader at Arrow Electronics. The region of Central and Eastern Europe is managed by Wolfram von Heu, Marketing Director at Sasco Holz for the Advanced Embedded Solutions product area.
