Putzbrunn, 08. February 2008 – Sasco Holz has added three new manufacturers to its portfolio. Fraen SRL and Recom have already joined the other manufacturers on the distributor’s line card. By adding the new product lines, Sasco Holz is expanding what it has to offer in terms of power supplies and secondary optics for high-brightness LEDs.
Fraen SRL is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of secondary optics for high-brightness LEDs. This Italian manufacturer’s products will become available during the first quarter of 2008. Under the terms of the agreement, Fraen SRL will supply products for LEDs made by Osram Opto Semiconductors. The Milan-based manufacturer offers 40 different types of optics for the Golden Dragon, Platinum Dragon and Ostar product ranges from Osram Opto Semiconductors. All types will be available from Sasco Holz. Sasco Holz’s partnership with Fraen SRL will enable it to supplement its existing range of lighting solutions and offer a wider choice of building and street lighting applications.
With its power supply products, Recom International Power from Austria can cater for any low-voltage application within the power range of 0.25 to 100 watts. Recom specialises in DC/DC and AC/DC converters as well as high-quality switches and LED drivers. It focuses mainly on the telecommunications, measuring and control technology, data processing, transport, and aviation markets as well as on military and medical engineering. Recom International Power offers both customisable standard versions of its products and special versions tailored to customers' functional and visual requirements.
